High grade thick aluminium sheet for bottom aluminum boats

High grade thick aluminium sheet for bottom aluminum boats are the ones I am familiar with. 5052 aluminium sheet and 5083 marine aluminium alloy sheet plate is a very common alloy for this purpose. In our area it is referred to as "marine grade" aluminum. It also forms very nicely without the cracking issues that you might encounter with other grades. Generally you will want to weld it with 5356 filler. There are likely other choices for material and filler.
