How to cut aluminium sheet metal rolls
Sheet A rolled rectangular section of thickness over 0.15mm and to 6.0mm, with sheared, slit or sawn edges.
Plate A rolled rectangular section of thickness greater than 6mm, with either sheared or sawn edges.
Step 1 - Put on Protective Wear

Step 2 - Prepare the anodised aluminium sheet
Place the aluminium sheet on a work surface. Mark the cut line with a marker. This will enable you to proceed smoothly and efficiently.
Step 3 - Straight Cuts
Use yellow-handled snips for straight cuts. Place the carpenter's level or straight piece of lumber along the marked line.
tep 4 - Curves and Circles

Mark a curve or circular shape on the metal sheet. For circles, use an awl to punch a starter hole in the metal.
